Inborn Pair is about a resort president (also grandma’s boy) Ke Wei Xiang, who has the career he wants and is instead looking for his special someone. His grandma has betrothed Wei Xiang when he was still in the womb to the granddaughter of the man who saved her life, and grandma has been dreaming of the day her grandson can fulfill her promise. Wei Xiang is the reverse of the haughty, cold, and rude chaebol. He’s instead very considerate and kind, and he doesn’t have the heart to say no to his grandma’s lifelong dream.

The heroine Song Yi Jie is a legal assistant at a law firm who is in the process of obtaining her lawyer’s license. She’s a righteous young woman who believes in standing up for justice and doesn’t care for love when she’s got a career to pursue. Episode 1 has Yi Jie and Wei Xiang meeting cute when she pretends to be the lover of a sleazy man so that his wife can obtain the evidence to force him sign divorce papers. On her way to the rendezvous, she chances upon a woman tearfully accusing Wei Xiang of breaking her heart (but in truth the woman is his daft subordinate). Wei Xiang thinks Yi Jie is a “Xiao San” (homewrecker) while Yi Jie mistakes Wei Xiang for a lothario who toys with women.

    I am soooo excited to see Chris Wu!!! I love Chris Wang and think he’s a good actor, but having Chris Wu in here…man, it really adds some spice to the storyline! That first moment when he laid eyes on Annie’s character (Yi Jie)…those tears in his eyes said everything! He’s such a good actor.  He can say so much without saying even a word.  Just from those looks, you could tell he didn’t want to leave her, and that he still loves her.  You can tell so much about his personality in just the few scenes you’ve seen him in…and now i am super interested in how he is going to push Wei Xiang to realizing he has feelings for Yi Jie. Ahhhh!!! I am so glad this drama is a daily one!

    i’m guessing that luo yun will use chris wu to get wei xiang by telling chris wu that yi jie and wei xiang’s marriage is just a contract agreement. she wants him to win back yi jie thinking that yi jie still has feelings for him and that will eventually lead to couple’s early divorce.  heheh! just a wild guess.

    Did anyone noticed that when Yi Jie was walking away from Dong Yang, from the front view, she is holding her bag in her hand but from he back view, the bag went up to the shoulder!!~

    I don’t see how Chris Wu can assume she’s married already by seeing a ring on her MIDDLE FINGER, especially since the ring looks more like a fashion accessory item than a wedding ring and it’s not on her ring finger too. The most that he can possibly assume is that maybe she has a bf and it’s their couple ring. So many easily avoidable faulty situations in this drama. This makes me wonder that sometimes these scriptwriters purposely put such scenes in this drama for viewers to have something to question about.

      It could the least be an engagement ring, cos it is known that from the thumb to the pinky wag finger put one ring on the left hand means, friends, dating, engaged, married and divorced.
